Product Review: Wisepalace 6 pack coasters with holder and sphere ice mold

This is a great coaster set. I love that it comes with its own holder so that my table can stay more organized. The coasters are a nice size. They are big enough that you could actually place a bowl on it. I like that because heat leaves marks on my table, so I can just place a hot bowl on a coaster and everything is fine. I consider the ice ball mold that came with the coasters to be a bonus. The ice comes out nice and round. I like using the ice balls all the time in my beverages, but they would be especially nice for when there are guests.

Product Review: 4-pack Mixed Pedi Refill Roller Heads

This is such a great deal! The pack has 1 extra coarse, 2 regular coarse, and 1 soft touch roller. I did notice that the extra coarse roller that came with my Amope is a little coarser than the extra coarse roller is this replacement pack. It still worked really well. I honestly could tell too much difference between the regular coarse and the extra coarse. I liked the soft touch one a lot. It is great to use when I just need a little touch up. Product Review: SnackCubby

 These are made of silicone so they can be squished, but they are sturdy enough to stand on their own. Since the tube can be squished I don't use them for foods that can be crushed like goldfish, cheezits, etc. I have mostly been using it for trail mix, fruit, etc. There is a lid attached to the cylinders, but each one comes with an extra lid that has an opening for a straw or popsicle stick. I can't imagine trying to drink something out of this and I don't think I would use them to make popsicles because they would be pretty big, BUT that is just my personal preference. I love that these are BPA free and dishwasher safe. I also love that once the tube is empty I can squish it up to save space. *I received this product at a discount for review. Product Review: Marimo Balls

3 Giant Marimo Balls + 1 Small FREE
I've been seeing Marimo Balls a lot online lately and I've been wanting some for myself for decorative purposes. They are round moss balls that you keep in water. The upkeep is minimal. All you have to do is change the water about once a week. That's it! I think they are really cute. You can buy them in different sizes, but the ones I received are "giant". I also received one tiny one as well (adorable!). As you can see in the picture I have the 3 giant and 1 small marimo balls in a cleaned Starbucks frappucino bottle.  I plan on getting a larger, and nicer container for them so they display better, but I thought this would give an idea of the sizes of the balls.  When I was reading up on Marimo Balls I found that other than decoration, many people put these in their fish tanks and their fish actually like to play with them. The fish will move the balls around the tank! I think that is pretty neat.

I live in an historic neighborhood downtown in my city. I absolutely love it, but when you live in a very old building surrounded by other old buildings, churches, restaurants, etc. there are certain drawbacks. One of the biggest drawbacks is pests...specifically cockroaches. We do what we can to keep them away. We keep our home clean, food stored properly, and our landlords even have tablets control technician visit all their properties once a month. Unfortunately there are just so many ways for roaches (and spiders!) to find their way in to this place and the occasional roach still finds their way in. We have used other products with moderate success but we thought we would try something new. This product consists of small pouches of powder that you pour into piles in a few spots. Supposedly it is safe for humans if you somehow manage to consume it. I'll just have to take their word for that since I didn't want to test it out. From what I can tell the product seems to work. I haven't seen any roaches since using it so I take that as a good sign. When I first signed up to review this product the price was outrageous, however, I have since noted the price has come down to a much more reasonable price. With this new pricing I would definitely recommend this product.

Product Review: Lux Essentials French Press

I've been wanting to try out a French Press for years but assumed it would be a hassle to use. When I had the opportunity to review one I jumped at the chance to finally see what it is like to use. Well, it turns out that it is incredibly easy to use AND to clean. To use you basically just add your coffee, your hot water, and press! There are two major things that convinced me to convert to using a French press. The first is that it is easy to clean. There aren't a ton of parts that you need to break down to clean, just some simple water and dish soap to get it clean. No more difficult than cleaning a glass. The second thing is that it saves me so much counter space. I can store this out of my way in the cabinet which is important since I live in a small apartment with almost no counter space. I'm so glad I finally tried using a French press. It's now my preferred method for making coffee.

Product Review: Tazo Chai

I was recently sent some samples of Tazo Chai to try.  Now, I'm a chai snob so I expected not to like the tea bags. I was so wrong! The chocolate chai especially blew me away. The chocolate flavor was faint so that it did not overpower the tea and spices. perfection! The original and caramel flavors were good but paled in comparison to the chocolate. I also bought the chai concentrate and prepared it both hot and cold. It was pretty good, but was lacking a richness that I prefer in chai. I liked the chai concentrate better cold. If you have never had chai before I highly recommend it. Even my boyfriend who doesn't really like hot tea tried it and ended up loving it. *I received samples of this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Product Review: UNi 100% Organic Moroccan Argan Oil

UNi 100% Organic Moroccan Argan Oil 2oz I've been hearing about how awesome argan oil is for awhile now so I figured I should give it a try. I'm certainly glad I did. My skin is always so dry, especially my face, legs, and feet. The first time I used the oil was on my face. My skin felt so tight and dry and then I applied a little Argan Oil. Immediately I felt relief. My skin felt so moisturized and soft.  I was a little concerned the oil would cause a breakout, but surprisingly it didn't. Just a heads up, a little goes a long way. The one thing I don't like about the oil is the smell. Others have said it has a nutty smell, but to me it smelled very faintly of dirty diapers. Thankfully, the smell disappeared pretty quickly and it was a very very faint smell. In the future I will use the argan oil in some homemade beauty products.

OG Instant Read Thermometer
This meat thermometer was accurate when I used it which is the most important thing. It also came with a temperature guide printed on the package which I found handy so I cut it out to keep. I also like the holder for the thermometer so it is protected and stays clean in storage. The only reason I don't rate this as 5 stars is because to me this isn't instant read. It took a long time to get to the final temperature. I have a non digital thermometer that takes the same amount of time as this digital instant read thermometer. Overall I'm pretty happy with it though.

Product Review: Oleavine Neem Oil

Oleavine Neem Oil I was hesitant about using this product at first because people warned about its strong smell. When I opened the bottle I got hit with a potent earthy kind of smell. It wasn't necessarily bad and it didn't really bother me. Neem oil has so many uses and so far I have only tried it a couple ways. First I used it to make an eczema cream since the eczema on my hand was acting up. I used the neem oil, coconut oil, and ground turmeric. It really did help the inflammation. I will definitely keep using the neem oil for this. I also used it as a pest repellant. We keep getting these weird little bugs in one room so I wiped the oil in the area I keep finding the bugs. So far I have yet to see them again. I can't say for sure it was because of the neem oil, but I will probably use it again for this purpose to see if it works again. Next up I plan to use the neem oil in my hair.
